Mustafizur Rahman ruled out first ODI Against RSA Today

Just ahead of the First One Day International Match against South Africa, Bangladesh Team have a big blow as their left arm pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been Ruled out due to ankle injury during the Training time.

“Mustafizur twisted his ankle during warm-up before training. He won’t play tomorrow,” Minhajul Abedin, the Bangladesh chief selector and team manager, told The Daily Star.

“We can’t tell yet if he will be available for the rest of the series. We’ll know more after we go to Cape Town [for the second ODI in Paarl], we haven’t done a scan yet,” he added.

In absence of Mustafizur, Bangla Tigers team surely depend more on their all rounder shakib al Hasan as well as Captain Mashrafe Mortaza in the Bowling attack. Tamim Iqbal might be comeback in this first odi as they miss the second Test due to thigh injury.
