For the upcoming 7th Edition of the Big Bash League Hobart Hurricans has been signed English Speedster (Fast bowler) Tom Curran as the second overseas players.
Curran who started well of the international cricket by ending the first match spell with given away 33 run and take a 3 wickets in the debut game against south africa in june 2017 and later on make a debut in september against windies.
“We follow the Big Bash quite a lot in England – it’s one of the biggest T20 competitions in the world. Listening to other English players who have played in the tournament they’ve only got great things to say about it. I can’t wait to join the squad and the coaching staff in Tasmania,” added the 22-year-old, who was the 16th off the 18 roster slots available.
“I’m glad he’s on my side – he loves batting against Surrey and I’ve got some bad memories from a personal perspective bowling to him,” said Curran. “But he’s a great guy and I can’t wait to work alongside him at the Hurricanes.”
