One of greatest kiwis All rounders Corey Anderson picked in the New Zealand Cricket team as specialist batsman for the upcoming Five Match One Day International Series against India which will be schedule to played in October 2016. Anderson not played for the black caps national team because of the back injury from the past six month. Now he recovered well and their experience surely help a lot to New zealand.
New Zealand selector Gavin Larsen said “Corey’s superb professionalism throughout his rehab process has led to this point, and it’s a credit to him and the hard work he’s put in,”
“We’re excited to have Corey back. He provides power through the middle-order and knows the conditions in India well. He’s still working on his bowling and we’ll continue to monitor that, but for this series, he will be used solely as a specialist batsman.”
