Warm up Matches Format / Rules

The warm-up matches rules were slightly different from normal ODI matches, so they were not recognised as One Day Internationals.

  • A team could use up to 15 players in a match, but only 11 could bat or field in each innings.
  • Batsmen could retire out without any injury.
  • Any Records with Bat, Bowl or fielding of Fours, Sixes, Wickets will not count in the ODI career of any batsman

All the Ten participating countries of the Cricket world cup 2019 will played the Two warm up game and it will be commence with the Afghianistan will be takes on Pakistan at Bristol and South Africa taking on Sri Lanka at Cardiff on 24 May.

Then on 25th May India Team will be up against New Zealand side on Oval while second game of the day England will be Face Australia at the Southampton venue.

Onb the 26th May, in Warm up Fixtures witness two big clashes of South Africa will be face out the Windies at Bristol and asian teams of Pakistan and Bangladesh face to each other in Cardiff.

On the Fourth Day of the Warm up Fixtures on 27th May Afghanistan side will be face out Morgan’s XI of England at the Oval while Sri Lankans are face to defending champions Austraia at Southampton.

On the Last day of the CWC Warm up Schedule 2019 on Windies will be face out New Zealand and two Asian neighborist India vs Bangladesh at Cardiff on 28th May.
