Russia to face Saudi Arabia in Fifa world cup 2018 opener on 14 June


On 1st December Groups for 2018 world cup Draw are finalized and after the end of the Final Draw’s Fifa world cup 2018 all matches schedule and details about the matches who to played against whom are clear. Russia will be takes on Saudi Arabia on 14th June in the Opening Match of the Fifa world cup 2018 at Luzhniki Sadium in Moscow.

All the 32 Qualified teams are categorized in to 4 pots ahead of the Final Draw and each pot consists of 8 teams. Host Russia who is already placed in the Group A and as per Fifa world cup Draw Results Host have to face against their other 3 Teams of the Group A of Uruguay, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the Group stage.

Saudi Arabian Team will be looking to better performance from their onform players of Mohammad Al Sahlawi who scoring 16 goals in the world cup qualification matches.

“I can’t say if the group’s good or bad for us yet. I haven’t seen Saudi Arabia. The only evident advantage for us that I can see right now is that we will have tougher opponents with each game,” quoted Russia team manager Stanislav Cherchesov.

The winner of Group A will be facing runner-up of Group B meanwhile runner up to play against winner of Group B in the next round.
