Another Aussies players are ruled out due to injury. One of the Most explosive batsman of the King XI Punjab who has also played some good inning in this ongoing Indian premier league t20 tournament has been ruled out due to side strain injury. This KXIP All Rounder players of Maxwell was suffering the injury during recent match against Sunrisers hyderabad which they played on 15th May sunday. Maxwell go to home and recuperate because in the next few day team have to played in the tri series in the west indies.
David Beakley Physiotherapist of the Australian Team says, “Glenn reported increasing soreness in his left abdomen area following last night’s (Sunday’s) match and as such a decision was made for him to return home for further assessment and treatment ahead of the West Indies tour”
“From the information we have so far, the injury doesn’t appear to be something that will prevent Glenn from participating in this tour, but we are keen to give him the necessary time to recover before departing to the West Indies at the end of this month.”
Before Maxwell injury some of the other aussies who also go to home for the injury name are Australian captain Steve Smith (wrist), Mitch Marsh (side strain), John Hastings (ankle) and Shaun Marsh (back) also returning home early.
