18th Edition of the FIBA Basketball World cup 2019 will be taking place in China which starting from 31 August – 5 September 2019 and there will be 32 teams taking part in so it should be a massive event. Previous 2014 China Basketball world cup total 24 Teams participate. So Eight more teams will be compete this time on the competition.

The first world cup was played back in 1950 and since than 17 world cup have been taken place with USA, Soviet Union and Yogoslavia winning 3 each and Brazil has won it twice. 2019 Basketball world cup will be the 18th edition and China as a host will be looking to win their First world cup title.
