Akshay Kumar becomes the co-owner of Bengal Warriors in PKL 2017

This season are much entertaiment then previous season as This time 4 new teams included so 12 Teams participate and its almost 138 matches played in PKL 2017. News coming is that superstar bollywood actor Akshay kumar buying stake in the bengal warriors team for the season 5 of PKL Tournament.

“Since Akshay has a new sports film coming up, his team has been looking into franchises to invest in,” stated the source. “They were earlier looking to buy a stake in a Hockey India League (HIL) team, but since there is uncertainty regarding its future, they looked at another sport and opted for the Pro Kabaddi League.”

The source added, “The first choice was Punjab, but there is no team in the league from there. There was an opening for a co-owner role in the Bengal Warriors and hence they opted for it.”

If we seen the recent performance of the Bengal Warriors then its very worst performance. So Fans and owner of the franchise wish that if a big celebrity becomes a new co owner of the team then team and players might get good inspiration and lift up in the tournament.

Akshay who had earlier bought a kabaddi team in the World Kabaddi League in past on 2014 as well. The actor will soon be seen playing hockey legend and Olympic gold medalist Balbir Singh in a movie called Gold which is based on India’s first hockey Gold after independence.
