Total 12 Teams participate in 2018 World Twenty20 Main Draw

One of the good news for all the associate cricket nation as ICC will be going to add two more teams in the Draw for the upcoming seventh edition of World Twenty20 2018 in First stage.

According to one of the reports of Espncricinfo and cricbuzz International Cricket Council which is also known as ICC is planning to explore the T20 cricket around the world and for that T20 world cup is perfect way to do that. So ICC will be thinking to add two more teams in the early stage before the second round of league so its might be called super-12

What I have heard described is that two teams will go through from [each] first group to create a Super 12. That seems to be the agreed format at the moment. Hopefully that means with two [more] going through, potentially two more could come into the qualifiers to make 18 but the sound of it at the moment is it’s going to be 16 into 12. It’s a move in the right direction,” said by The Hong Kong Cricket Association CEO Mr. Tim Cutler at espncricinfo.
