England Paul Collingwood Named as Captain of Capricorn Commanders


Masters Champions League is set to begin from 28th January 2016 at Dubai for that Engand’s Paul Collingwood named as a captain of Capricorn Commanders for the Inaugural Season of MCL 2016. Former English Player Colloingwood who has also played in ICC World Twenty20 as a Captain of England Team and currently getting same job in this MCL T20 too.

He said, “I am excited to be leading the Capricorn Commanders in the first ever MCL. It’s a privilege to lead such esteemed players who I’ve done battle with over the years but now I can say I’m happy to be playing with on the same side and hopefully we can have success at our first attempt.”

Commanders owner Parvez Khan said, “We could not have chosen a more exciting player; Collingwood is such a great leader on and off the field, and will definitely be a great asset to the team. We are aiming to win and Collingwood is the perfect captain to take us towards that direction.”

If we seen their recent cricket history then They have played so far 68 Test Matches, 197 One Day International Matches and Shorter format of Cricket 35 Matches played so far. In their career they played some glorious knows with bat and ball. He is looking to perfrom best in the upcoming Masters champions League.

Under the Captaincy of Collingwood Capricorn Commanders team will be playing their opening game of this MCL t20 tournament against Leo Lions on 29th January at Dubai International Stadium.
